This skill also increases in deadliness the more the player invests in it. The range and damage of said explosion increase depending on how long, and the distance of your slide before you hit a zombie. Overall, the game mode is really fun and tests the team’s endurance, teamwork, and tactical acumen to survive the longest. Matches end if all players are either dead or incapacitated by a bad case of zombies. However, zombies are a tenacious bunch, as they come out from all over the place. These points can then be used to obtain perks, weapons, area unlocks, special objects, or abilities. Players get points every time they kill or damage a zombie, or through barrier repairs. The endless waves of zombies are a bit of a challenge if the player’s alone, but together? That’s where the real fun begins. The cool thing about Zombies Mode is the fact that you can have up to 4 players working together to kick ass and take names. The waves will get more dangerous the more waves players defeat, and hidden secrets are lurking on the map for players to find. Its premise was simple: Players need to survive through waves of zombie hordes either alone or together. Created by Treyarch way back in World at War, the sheer popularity of the game mode led it to have iterations throughout the Call of Duty games. Whether the mobsters won, or Al survived, the game would end, giving Zombies its first-ever win condition.For those uninitiated to the Zombies experience, Call of Duty’s Zombies mode is a real treat. the mobsters will have to face off with Al once more, though this time, Al is aided by the zombies, in the only PvP zombies interaction in series history. Once you fly to the golden gate bridge for the final time. The three are sentenced to death for the murder of Al, placing the four in the events of Mob of the Dead. However, the plane you fly to Pack-a-Punch on was never built, as the Finn, Sal, and Billy, kill Al on the roof of the prison. If you complete the main quest, you’ll be greeted with an audio tour of the prison, while fighting the horde you’ll uncover the story of the mobsters, as they planned their escape in the same way as they do in the map. Once you come back, you’ll have to refuel the plane to go again. Around the map are several pieces players need to find to build a plane to escape from Alcatraz. The real meat and potatoes of the map are how players will access Pack-a-Punch. Bleeding out would send you to the Afterlife Arcade, which allows players to complete fun arcade games in order to jump back into the match without having to wait until the round is over. Dying in Spaceland doesn’t set players too far back either. Some perks were even based on fan suggestions, like Trailblazers, which left a trail of fire as a character slid along the ground. ![]() Previously removed perks, such as the PhD Flopper, returned in Infinite Warfare. Perks were also included in this new rendition as well, taking the form of “Perk Candies”, but retaining the same effects as in the Treyarch maps. The map is filled to the brim with actual interactives as well, playing one of the many arcade games in the Astrocade, or riding the rollercoaster will net you tickets, which you can then spend on myriad helpful gear. The theme park’s multiple attractions could be used to help destroy the undead, such as the spinning Escape Velocity, or out-of-control bumper cars. However, survival wasn’t the only thing players could do in Spaceland. ![]()
